ControversyMayank Dixit Subjected to Physical Attack: Mayank Dixit was caught in an ugly fight with some people he didn't know on July 2, 2023. It happened while he was coming back home in a taxi in New Delhi. Reportedly, an unknown man started arguing with the taxi driver about reversing the car after which the driver left from there. Following this, the man started verbally abusing Mayank and ended up physically fighting with him. The situation worsened when the man gathered two or three more people, and together they attacked Mayank, leaving him severely injured and in a critical condition. The director suffered significant injuries on his neck and head. Initially, he was taken to Kailash Hospital, but later the medical team decided to move him to the AIIMS trauma centre for further examination. Later, the Police registered a case against the accused individuals under sections 308 (intent to cause serious harm) and 34 (shared intention) of the Indian Penal Code. [2]Hindustan Times
