In 2000, an FIR was filed against him and six other people for claiming that they had the magical power to restore the life of a dead girl. In the process, they placed the body of a dead girl in a public place Malla ka chabutra in Shahganj, Agra, for around two days. Later, the local people complained in a police station as the body had started smelling foul.

Violated COVID-19 Guidelines
In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown in India, he organised a satsang in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. He had permission to gather only 50 people. However, violating the guidelines, more than 50,000 people were present at the satsang. An FIR was filed against him for violating the rules.

Stampede in Hathras
On 2 July 2024, Narayan Sakar Hari's satsang was organised at Rati Bhanpur village, Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh. At the event, more than 2 lakh people had gathered. After the satsang, while he was stepping out of the pandal (place where event was organised), people started taking his feet's soil to apply on their forehead as a mark of blessing. Within a few seconds, more and more people started running towards him to touch the soil of his feet which created a situation of stampede. Narayan Sakar Hari's commando tried to push the crowd away and escorted Narayan to his car. People also slipped off the mud as it was slippery after the rain.   • Later, he took early retirement from his services as he wanted to do spiritual work. His last posting was in Agra. Post-retirement, he started living in a hut in his village.
  • However, according to some sources, he was only a constable and was jailed in a molestation case after which he decided to move to spirituality.
  • According to his elder sister Sonkali, during his police job, he became mentally unstable which led him to leave his police job and embrace spirituality. Sonkali also revealed that he experienced a spiritual awakening while still in his police job.
  • Initially, Narayan Sakar Hari started preaching spirituality among people in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Instead of preaching any religion, he talked about humanity in his preachings.
  • Soon, his satsangs named ‘Manav Mangal Milan Sadbhavna Samagam’ started gaining popularity among the people of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi.

  • He once shared that he did not use the donation money received from his followers for his personal expenses. Instead, he used the money for the benefit of his followers.
