• Naved Aslam grew up in a middle-class family in New Delhi.

• When he was 10 years old, his father took him to a theatre. After watching the play, he became so desperate to act that he started participating in school plays.

• Aslam has received training in Indian classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi where he learnt 10 raags.

• He started doing professional theatre when he was in class 9th.

• Later he joined Miniature Theater located in Chandini Chownk, New Delhi and took part in various plays.

• Naved Aslam began his career in the film and TV industry as a cameraman. He also got training in filmmaking from a film-making school.
