• “Neither I nor my office made any calls or offered any help in this transaction,” he said. Pawar also mentioned that he had instructed officials to take strict action if any irregularities were found in any other land deals involving his relatives.

• Parth Pawar, on his part, agreed to cancel the deal to avoid any suspicion of wrongdoing.

• “My son Parth says the proposed deal was within the law and transparent, but in public life we should not allow even doubt to arise. The cancellation papers have been submitted to the registering authority,” Ajit Pawar added.
