• In an interview, he shared that while he was growing up, he did not share a good relationship with his father. He said that when he was only three years old, his father left his mother and married another woman. ^[6]MensXP He said,
  

  My father Mahesh Bhatt never treated me like his own child. It’s the raw uncut truth about my relationship with my father. Perhaps if Mr Mahesh Bhatt had been a father to me I wouldn’t have gotten into the friendship with Headley. My childhood insecurities, the lack of a father-figure in my growing years were lacunas in my life that Mr Headley used to win over my confidence. I was vulnerable. • Later, he trained under the Indian fitness trainer Kaizzad Capadia. While working out, he developed a passion for fitness training and became a fitness trainer. In an interview, he shared his workout regimen. He said in morning the first thing he do is to drink one litre of cold water and a protein shake. He daily ran five kilometres in thirty minutes, squatted 400 pounds, bench pressed 300 pounds, and lifted another 400 pounds.
