- Ravi Gupta is an Indian standup comedian, cartoonist, illustrator, and content manager who became popular for narrating real-life stories in a funny way.
- While studying in school, he often took part in plays and dramas and participated in various cultural competitions. He later participated in fests while pursuing his graduation at BHU.
- Once he completed his formal education, he moved to Delhi where he worked in many companies as an illustrator. From May 2012 to July 2012, he worked as an intern illustrator at Drawing Room Media. From June 2013 to August 2014, he worked as a senior illustrator at White Mice Media and at Satyabhawna Production from October 2014 to August 2016.

- Ravi Gupta talked about his motive behind starting standup comedy in 2015 and revealed that he found the work very repetitive which he was doing as an illustrator in corporate companies, and he felt that his creativity was not being used purposefully. While he often viewed many celebrities during their interview who encouraged artists to do theatre, he was hesitant to work as an actor as he considered himself a bad actor.
- He got interested in doing standup comedy after watching Zakir Khan and Amit Tandon doing a comedy act. He messaged Zakir Khan on Instagram and in reply, Zakir asked him to start doing standup comedy during the evening. Ravi Liked Zakir’s suggestion and started performing at bars and clubs during the evening while working at his job during the day.
