• After completing his schooling from a Government school in his village, Raebareli, he moved to Lucknow to pursue his graduation.

• He always wanted to be an IAS officer. During his stay in Lucknow, he changed his mind and opted acting as his career, after watching a play at BNA (Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow). In an interview, he stated,
  

  “During my stay in Lucknow, I read a lot of books on career guidance, and every book had one common advice to give: choose the career that you like. So I started questioning myself if I actually wanted to become an IAS officer.”

• Then, he took admission in BNA for a four-month theatre workshop, and from here, he began his Bollywood journey. After doing theatres for 5 years in Lucknow, he enrolled for an acting course at FTII, Pune. During his course, he got his first film, Knock Out (2010) with Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan.
