• Samir Modi hails from New Delhi, India.

• Samir is the youngest son of renowned businessman K K Modi. He serves as an executive director at Modi Enterprises, a venture founded by his grandfather, Gujarmal Modi, in 1933.

• He studied at The Doon School, Dehradun, which is an all-boys school.

• Since childhood, Samir has been interested in boxing. In an interview, he revealed that,

I boxed when I was in school at Doon. It was mandatory at school to play either hockey, soccer or cricket, and I was bad at all three. So, I took up gymnastics, athletics and boxing against the wishes of my family. I started boxing at around age six and continued till I was 21.”

• However, he quit boxing after college, as he had promised his mother that he would not continue boxing after college.

• In 1989, after completing his bachelor’s degree, Modi began his professional career as an executive director with Godfrey Philips Pvt Ltd.

• In 1992, he joined Philip Morris, United States, as a management trainee, where he worked on promoting Marlboro Cigarettes. He has worked there till 1994.

Modi allegedly approached her and offered her a career in the fashion and lifestyle industry, and later raped her at his residence in New Friends Colony in December 2019.

• The legal team of Samir Modi denied all the accusations. They said that Samir Modi has already filed a complaint against a lady for money extortion and blackmail on 8 August 2025 and 10 August 2025. They added that whatsapp chat was also presented as proof at the police station, where the lady was demanding Rs 50 crore.
