Controversy | Arrested by Kolkata Police On 20 August 2024, Samrat Mukerji was arrested by the Kolkata Police after his car collided with a motorcycle in the Behala area of south-western Kolkata. Apparently, he was driving his car in a wrong direction at a high speed when he lost control of the car.
