• Once, in a media conversation, she shared that her cousin, Sekhon, who is a shotgun shooter, introduced her to the sport when she was nine years old. According to Sift Kaur Samra, she started practising 10-metre rifle events in 2016-17.

She scored a total of 469.6 points with 154.6 in kneeling, 157.9 in prone, and 157.1 in standing elimination to defeat Chinese player Qiongyue Zhang, who won the silver medal.
