I was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and my breasts were surgically removed. Since then I have been trying many remedies like traditional medicine and English medicine. But could not recover from this. I do not blame the doctors for this. They treated well. But they did not cooperate with my body. I stayed in a village near Thanjavur for a month and tried folk remedies. Then the sores on my breast healed. But at that time my son-in-law suddenly died of a heart attack. So, unable to continue treatment there, I came to Chennai. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he was told to take a break for 3 years. How can I take rest when my family can eat only if I work? Many friends have seen me suffering from cancer and have helped me. I eat only because of them and take care of other expenses. How long will they help? Thinking that I should not be a burden to them, I started acting in serials again. Then the bangle was put on the hand and the hand became swollen due to allergy. Now my left arm doesn’t work… dead. If my daughter is also unemployed and struggling with a child, I will take care of her too. Instead of throbbing in pain day after day, I asked the doctors to kill me by injecting poison. It will be good if this interview goes to the notice of Chief Minister M.K.Stalin for my treatment and for my daughter to get a government job. I am not harming anyone. Then I don’t know why God is giving me such pain.” [6]Asianet News
