Some Lesser Known Facts About Sitaram Panchal
- Sitaram was a Bollywood actor, known for his roles in films like ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’, ‘Bandit Queen’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Peepli Live’ and ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh.’
- He learned acting skills from National School of Drama, New Delhi.
- In January 2014, he was diagnosed with ‘kidney and lung cancer.’ And after a 3 year long battle with cancer, he passed away on 10 August 2017, morning, at around 7:45 am, after a long battle with lung cancer.
- In spite of receiving funds of around INR 5 lakh, Panchal underwent Ayurvedic treatment and didn’t switch over to allopathic medication. He even started a new homeopathic medicine, however, it didn’t prove beneficial for him.
