• Srikala Reddy’s late father, K. Jitender Reddy, was the president of the Nalgonda district cooperative in Telangana. He was also elected as an independent MLA from the Huzurnagar assembly seat of Telangana in 1969.

• Reportedly, her father participated in the Telangana Armed Struggle Movement.

• Srikala Reddy’s mother, Lalitha Reddy, was the sarpanch of her ancestral village, Ratnavaram in Telangana.

• After completing a course in architecture and interior design in the United States, she began working as an interior designer.
