  • Zain Khan Durrani is an Indian actor. He is the second actor from Kashmir who featured as a lead actor in Bollywood films. Before him, Zaira Wasim was the only actor from Kashmir who acted in a lead role in a Bollywood film, “Dangal.”
  • In his school and college days, Durrani was good at studies and used to actively participate in extracurricular activities such as theatre and debate competitions.
  • Durrani loves to spend his leisure time reading books and writing poetry. He writes Urdu and English poetry, which he often shares on his Instagram account.
  • Durrani’s parents always wanted him to be an IAS officer, and after completing his graduation, Durrani started preparing for the IAS exam. However, his parents later saw his inclination towards acting and poetry and supported him to pursue his career in the film industry.
  • He worked as an assistant director for the film “Shab” in 2017 after which the director Onir selected him for the lead role in his next film “Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz.”
