- Himesh Reshammiya grew up in Mumbai.
- He started his training in music under his father, a music director.
- When he was 13, his elder brother who was 22 years old, passed away. After his brother’s demise, he started writing songs.
- When he was 16, he started working as a TV serial producer for Ahmedabad Doordarshan and Zee TV.
- Some of the TV serials produced by him are Andaz, Ahha, Aman, Aashiqui, Amar Prem, and Jaan. He also composed the title track of various TV serials.
- The Indian actor Salman Khan had once promised him that he would help Himesh in launching his career. He kept his promise and Himesh composed two Hindi songs for Salman Khan’s film ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.’ Since then, Himesh considers Salman as his mentor in Bollywood.
