• His family members alleged that he suffered from food poisoning, which led to his untimely demise. On 24 June 2023, he travelled to Kozhikode for a film project discussion and experienced physical discomfort and chest pain after consuming food at a restaurant during his return journey to Kollam.

• He sought medical attention at a hospital near his wife’s home in Kunnamkulam on 24 June 2023. He was then discharged and returned home on 25 June 2023; however, he continued to experience physical discomfort and was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Kuzhuppilly.

• After his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to a hospital in Kochi, where he ultimately passed away on the morning of 26 June 2023. His funeral was held later that evening. ^[3]Mathrubhumi
