  • Rameshwar Dudi’s father, Jetha Ram Dudi, was a successful entrepreneur, who established several businesses in industries such as petroleum, mining, milk, and real estate. In 1977, his father was elected as the Sarpanch of his village.

  • Rameshwar’s cousin, Chetan Dudi, is a well-known politician and was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly Elections from the Deedwana constituency.

  • In an affidavit submitted to the Election Commission of India, Rameshwar declared that he is a businessman engaged in the trade of petroleum products and agriculture.
  • Rameshwar began his political career in 1995 following the death of his father. He won the local village election and became the Village Pradhan. After completing his tenure as Pradhan, he got the ticket to contest in the 1999 general election of Lok Sabha. He is one of the few individuals who established his name in national politics in such a short span of time.
  • In the 2013 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Rameshwar emerged victorious over Kanhaiya Lal Jhanwar (Independent) by a margin of 30,000 votes.
  • In the 2018 elections, he lost the Nokha constituency to a BJP candidate, Biharilal Bishnoi, by a margin of 8663 votes.
  • In 2019, he requested to the government of Rajasthan that his security be enhanced after two shooters were arrested in Haryana for plotting to assassinate him.
  • On 18 January 2022, the Rajasthan government established the Rajasthan State Agro Industries Development Board with the goal of increasing farmers’ income. Rameshwar Dudi was appointed as the chairman of this board because of his reputation among the farming community of Rajasthan.
