Controversy | Family Issues Vijaypat Singhania transferred his shares worth Rs. 1000 crores to his younger son Gautam Singhania in 2015. He was given the position of Chairman of Raymond Limited which was held by Vijaypat before. This decision caused a rivalry between their families as his elder son Madhupati Singhania filed a case against his father claiming his rights to the property according to the agreement which was made in 1988.
