  • Anjali came to know about shooting in the NCC, she was 21 when she got into MRA (Maharashtra Rifle Association).
  • Anjali was chosen for shooting in the National Championship of 1988 due to the lack of female candidates; she won a silver medal in the competition despite being unfamiliar with the shooting field.
  • She has set 13 new records in international competitions and has won 31  gold, 23 silver, and 7 bronze medals in her international career.
