Controversy	2 Persons Caught in Train In November 2023, TTE Hamid Ali of Shramjeevi SF Express (12392) caught 2 people travelling on 2 first-class AC seats booked in the name of Shyam Singh Yadav and his wife. When he asked the persons about tickets, they told him that they were Yadav's men and also called Yadav who scolded Ali. Later, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) spoke to Yadav, fined those 2 people Rs 3640, and sent them to sleeper class. Yadav later claimed that those 2 people were his PA (personal assistant) and security guard (gunner). Yadav also said that he could not board the train due to some issues, and sent his men instead. Yadav also participated in various tournaments including the 9th Asian Shooting Championship held in Langkawi (Malaysia) in January 1999, the World Cup Shooting Championship held in Lonato (Italy) in June 2001, and the World Cup Shooting Championship held in Shanghai China 2002.

He later completed the Coaches Course ‘C’ Class and Judges ‘B’ Course of the International Shooting Sport Federation (I.S.S.F).

He also served as the coach of the Indian team in various competitions such as the Asian Games in Doha, Qatar in December 2006 and the Shooting World Cup in Cyprus in September 2007.

He was the coach of the Indian team in the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008 where Abhinav Bindra won India’s first individual gold medal in Olympics history.

He has also worked as a technical official in various tournaments such as the 9th SAF Games in Islamabad, Pakistan in March 2004 and the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
