Some Lesser Known Facts About Chulbul Pandey

• Chulbul Pandey had several cases of extortion registered against him at the Vile Parle Police Station. He also had a rape case registered at Mulund police station.

• He had several contacts in Mumbai and often acted as an informer of the police.

• Chulbul often used to visit the Soft Touch Spa located on the ground floor of Manjrekar building, L.R. Papan Marg, Worli Naka in Mumbai and was friends with its staff members.

• Apparently, on 17 July 2024, Chulbul took his girlfriend and three staff members of the spa to Aparna Bar & Restaurant near Sion railway station to give a treat for his birthday.

• After the celebrations ended, Chulbul, his girlfriend, and the spa staff returned to the Spa. Later, the staff left the spa saying that they’ll be back in some time.

• Meanwhile, two unidentified armed men entered the spa at around 11:30 pm and stabbed Chulbul with a knife several times while he was lying on a sofa. They also slit his throat before leaving.

• A day later, in the afternoon, Chulbul’s girlfriend called the Worli Police Station to inform about the incident.

• An FIR under section 103 (Punishment for murder) and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Samhita (BNS) was registered by the Worli Police against unknown people.

• Talking about the incident, a police official said,
  

  We rushed to the spot and found the body. We took it to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead by the doctors. He had injuries all over his body. Based on that we have registered an FIR and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused. The body has been sent for postmortem analysis.”
