- Rajiv Thakur is an Indian stand-up comedian, theatre artist, actor, TV host, and film director. He mainly works in Hindi and Punjabi films and TV shows.
- After completing his graduation, he took admission in Khalsa College, Amritsar, to pursue MCom. He got admission on an artist quota as he used to perform in theatres during his graduation. However, the HOD of commerce of Khalsa College did not allow him to join the classes. The HOD said that Rajiv did not appear for the MCom entrance exams and got admission on a quota basis.
- While he was studying in college, he won the Best Actor award five times. He also won an award for acting at the national level.
- While in college, he hosted a few youth festivals.
- After completing PGDCA, he participated in various cultural festivals of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.
