- Anumita began taking the Carnatic music classes when she was 6 years old. She pursued music in college but left it midway as she didn’t find herself fit for the subject and joined a design course.
- Realizing she couldn’t stay away from music, Anumita started uploading her Bollywood covers on Instagram and YouTube during the Covid pandemic.
- Anumita Nadesan got noticed as a singer when the Indian actresses Anna Ben and Sonam Kapoor reposted her cover of ‘O Rangrez’ from the movie ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.’
- By December 2020, her ‘Jashn-e-Bahara’ song from the film ‘Jodha Akbar’ had made her famous for crossing 2 million views in a month.
