• Bharat Jadhav is an Indian actor, producer and theatre artist. He is best known for working in Marathi films, television shows and plays. He is most commonly renowned for his comedic role as an actor in Marathi cinema and theatre.

• His family is originally from Kolhapur but relocated to Mumbai when Bharat was young.

• Bharat spent his childhood in the backyard of Rajaram Studios in Lalbaug Parel.

• Under the mentorship of folk artist Shahir Sable, Jadhav started his theatre journey in 1985, when he joined the Maharashtrachi Lokdhara dance troupe.

• In an interview, Bharat said that even after working in many films and television shows, he loved theatre the most. In the interview, he added that in 2012, he was offered the role of Mahadev in the film OMG: Oh My God!, but he gave up on the film because he was aligned to perform in a play.

• In an interview, he revealed that doing theatre had taught him to remain down-to-earth. In the interview, he revealed that even after his success, he still offers tea to anyone who comes to his production house. Sometimes, when the technicians are missing, he does the off-stage work.

• In 2013, Bharat inaugurated his own production house, Bharat Jadhav Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with a launch event that was attended by numerous renowned figures and actors, including Raj Thackeray, Nikhil Wagle, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Siddarth Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Jaywant Wadkar, Prachi Cheulkar, Kiran Shantaram, and Anjan Shrivastav.

• In 2023, in an interview, Bharat revealed that in 2002, when he was performing in the play Sahi Re Sahi, one of his fans gave money to Bharat at the end of the play. When Bharat asked him about the money, he said he had two tickets for the play but had come alone. He also added that he did not like that the seat next to him was empty and there was no one to watch Bharat’s hard work.

• Bharat shared a father-son relationship with Marathi veteran actor Vijay Chavan, who died in 2018. In an interview, he said that he guided him like a father who holds his son’s finger to teach him how to walk.
