• Nelson Dilipkumar is a Tamil director, story, and screenplay writer who has made many successful films in his career.

• After school, he wanted to study medicine or engineering, but his dad said he had to do engineering at a good college or study visual communication. He got 80% in 12th grade, so he chose visual communication at The New College, Chennai and later entered the Tamil entertainment field.

• He began as an assistant screenplay writer for Vijay TV, which later became Star Vijay. Then, he became a Program Director for various TV shows.
