• On 27 December 2022, Prahlad Modi and his family were on their way to Bandipur National Tiger Reserve, Mysore, when their car met with an accident near Kadakola. Reportedly, the accident occurred at 2 pm when their car crashed into a divider. Prahlad Modi’s grandson suffered a fracture in his leg while the other members suffered minor injuries and were immediately taken to Mysru’s JS Hospital. In an interview, while talking about the accident, Prahlad said,
  

  The car belongs to my friend Rajashekar. There was another car too. We were heading to Bandipur National Tiger Reserve. I do not know what went wrong. The vehicle was not speeding. As we were wearing seat belts and airbags opened, the impact of the accident was minimal.
