According to reports, the driver had allegedly “fallen asleep” while driving, which caused the accident. 

• According to reports, Sindhu was sitting on the front seat and suffered serious injuries due to which she died on the spot. While the other 3 people inside the car (Abhishek Kumaran (22), Jayankandran (23) and Rakshan (20)), including the driver, suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a hospital in Chennai.
