• Shyam Maheshwari is an Indian entrepreneur, Chartered Accountant, and investor. He is the founder of Nextinfinity Management Pte. Ltd., an asset management company in Singapore.

• He hails from the small town of Katihar in Bihar.

• While pursuing MBA in Finance at IIM Bangalore, Shyam went to WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany for an exchange programme.

• In 1999, Shyam joined ‘Lehman Brothers Inc.,’ an American investment banking company and worked for their Tokyo and Hong Kong branches as part of their special situation desk. He served as the Senior Vice President of the company till September 2008 during which he also observed the filing of Lehman Brothers Inc. in bankruptcy.

• In January 2009, Shyam Maheshwari co-founded ‘SSG Capital Management (Hong Kong) Limited,’ a financial services and asset management company. He continued working as a partner for the firm till June 2014.
