Some Lesser Known Facts About Sumit Roy

• Sumit Roy developed an interest in writing from a very young age.

• He tried to write a novel at the age of 10.

• Sumit attended A. J. K. Mass Communication Research Centre in New Delhi, where he met Nusrat F. Jafri on his first day. He casually started the conversation by asking where she lived and soon ended up becoming her flatmate during their three-year course.

• Sumit is a Bengali with Punjabi influence, while Nusrat is a Lucknowi Shia with Roman Catholic roots. Despite their different backgrounds, their relationship grew naturally.
