- After completing his education, he worked at Canadian Tire, a retail company, before starting his music career.
- In 2016, Sunny Malton released a diss track called “Jus Remain Humble Doe” in which he targeted singers Fateh, Jus Reign, Lilly Singh, and Humble the Poet. He included a line in the song for Fateh: “He fake with that beard, Rick Ross.”
- In August 2017, Sidhu Moose Wala and Byg Byrd released the song “So High,” which became his most successful track.
