• Ujjwala, at the age of 17, won the title of “Femina Look of the Year” at Femina Miss India 1996 and was among the top 15 of Elite Model Look Contest 1996 in Nice, France.

• She has walked the runway twice for “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” in 2002 and 2003. She judged and hosted the Kingfisher Calendar Hunt 2012 with model Milind Soman.

• In June 2004, Ujjwala got married to Craig Maxwell Sterry, a British model- turned- entrepreneur. Ujjwala and Craig were blessed with a baby girl in 2005.
