  • After completing his formal education, Varun Mitra started working at an export house. However, he later left his export house job to become an actor.
  • In 2012, he went to Mumbai for a two week trip. While staying there, he auditioned for a few roles and later got selected by ‘Kwan,’ a talent management agency.
  • After making his debut as a host for the travel TV show ‘2 For The Road’ (2012), he hosted the travel TV show ‘Good Drives’ (2013), which was broadcast on NDTV GoodTimes. The TV show was sponsored by Tata Safari.
  • He rose to fame in 2014 following his appearance in a television commercial for Amazon Kindle Paperwhite.
