The protests which were being led by Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary got violent as a result of which the riot control police force was deployed at the site. After the end of the protests, a case was filed against Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and 73 others for allegedly vandalising public property and attacking the riot control police force that was deployed in Moradabad to curb the agitation. On January 2022, a special court in Uttar Pradesh dismissed the case and acquitted all the accused due to a lack of evidence. [5]The Free Press Journal
