• Anjali Merchant, daughter of Indian industrialist Viren Merchant, is the co-founder of ‘Dryfix.’ She is a director at Encore Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., a large privately owned pharmaceutical group.

• She belongs to the Kutchi Bhatia family in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

• Her younger sister, Radhika Merchant, is engaged to Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani.

• While studying at the University of Virginia, Anjali worked on various projects for which she travelled to about 12 countries including Japan, China, Canada, and Spain.

• She has worked as an intern at many organisations in Mumbai including Publicis (May 2006 – July 2006), Merck (June 2009 – August 2009), and K. K. Asher and Co. (June 2010 – August 2010).
