• Rucha Inamdar comes from a family of artists, with her mother, elder brother, and maternal grandmother all being professional painters.

• Rucha’s father is a doctor and writer. He recently published his poetry book titled ‘Majha Mala’; due to the restrictions during COVID-19, the book was launched online.

• Rucha’s parents are doctors hence she has spent much of his life in the premises of JJ Hospital, Mumbai.

• Rucha gave her first mono-act performance at the age of 3 and acted in a play when she was in kindergarten. She participated in numerous acting competitions at the school, college, and inter-college levels.

I used to have lunch with them and interact with them. Such interactions helped me bring a certain authenticity to my character.”

• Rucha made her web series debut in Hotstar Special’s ‘Criminal Justice’ (2019) in which she appeared as Avni Parashar, a pregnant woman.

• In 2022, she appeared in Disney+Hotstar’s ‘The Great Indian Murder’ in which she portrayed the role of Ritu Rai.
