• Malini grew up in various countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Greece, Germany, Lebanon, and Somalia as her father was an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer.

• Malini Agarwal started her career as a dancer after moving to Mumbai.

• From August 1995 to December 2000, she worked as a professional  dancer with Ronica Jacob’s dance troupe ‘The Planets.’

• She then joined 1D8 Technologies Mumbai as a copywriter. She worked there from 2000 to 2002.

• She worked professionally as a digital channel head for MTV channel from January 2001 to August 2003.

• Then she left her job to work as a blogger for a Gossip Column at Mid Day, where she worked from January 2006 to April 2008.

• In 2008, Malini started her blog, MissMalini.com as a hobby while professionally working in other companies. On her blog, she covered topics like Bollywood, Fashion trends, Beauty & Skincare, Lifestyle choices, travel stories, Food trends, and Indian celebrities.
