Controversies	Accused for sexual assualting a teenage girl (April 2025)- In April 2025, a case was registered against Surendra Patil for sexual assault and offences under the Arms Act. According to the complaint the victim was sexually assaulted between 16 Frebruary 2025 and 29 March 2025 in the Dawadi area of Dombivli East, Pune. The case was registered against Patil and his driver. The 19- years old victim, came in contact with Patil through Instagram. As the friendship grew, Patil promised to secure a job for her at Mumbai Airport. To get a job, the victim rushed to Mumbai. The victim first met with Patil at Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, and then accoampanied him to his office in Dombivli. Patil first seduced the victim, however when victim restricted him he whipped out his gun and forcefully assault her. Fear of humiliation victim didn't report the incident. However, Patil continued to blackmail and sexually assault her. Being traumatized by the incident the victim lodged a complaint against Patil and his driver at the Manpada Police Station, Thane.
