- From the age of childhood itself, he played tennis ball cricket and became a leather ball cricket player in 2016 with the support of his elder brother Gaurav.
- During a tournament in Wardha, the senior players took note of his height and bowling style.
- Coach Ravi Lunga’s videos were sent to Prashant Vaidya, Vidarbha Cricket Association.
- After that, he was selected by ex-India pacer and selector Subroto Banerjee for Vidarbha’s residential academy programme in Nagpur.
- He moved to Nagpur to train and practice at academies in the area before entering the professional domestic cricket arena.
