• She had a keen interest in singing since childhood. She had competed in several talent shows.

• Techi had previously worked as the lead vocalist in The Vinyl Records which was an India-based all-girl rock band. However, she had to opt out of the band due to some personal reasons.

• Techi Boby is best known as an Indie pop singer.

• The first song she performed on stage was ‘Cry’ by Mandy Moore.

•  She was crowned LG SONGSTAR of the Year at the 2013 K-Pop India Contest.
