- Dasharathaiah Sudhakar is an Indian politician. He is the cabinet minister in the Government of Karnataka and a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Hiriyur constituency on the ticket of the Indian National Congress.
- In 2004, D Sudhakar contested the legislative assembly elections from the Challakere constituency in Karnataka on the ticket of the Indian National Congress and won. He was re-elected as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Hiriyur constituency in 2008 and 2013.
- D Sudhakar served as the minister of youth affairs of Karnataka from 2010 to 2011. He then served as the minister of social welfare from 2008 to 2009 during B. S. Yediyurappa‘s tenure as Chief Minister of Karnataka. On 27 May 2023, he was appointed as the planning and statistics minister in the Government of Karnataka.
