Some Lesser Known Facts About Rubika Liyaquat
- While studying at the University of Mumbai, she worked as an anchor with the Channel 24 in 2003 for about three months.
- Rubika completed her graduation in 2005 and began working with Live India in June 2007. She worked with the channel until September 2008.
- In 2008, she moved to the channel News 24 as an anchor and senior correspondent.
- Rubika then began reporting and anchoring with Zee News.
- In August 2018, Rubika resigned from Zee News and joined the ABP News Network. At ABP News, she started hosting the primetime show “Master Stroke.”
- She is an avid dog lover and has a pet, named Romeo.
- In April 2019, she became one of the few journalists in India to take an interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- In June 2023, she reportedly quit ABP Network after being part of the Hindi news channel for five years and joined Jagdish Chandra’s Bharat24 as vice-president; owned by the ETV group, Bharat24 was launched in August 2022 in the presence of I&B minister Anurag Thakur and Bharatiya Janata Party’s IT cell head Amit Malviya.
