- S Radha Chauhan is a former 1998-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
- From 2011 to 2015, she served as the Joint Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
- During her tenure as the National Principal Consultant for National e Governance Plan (NeGP- 2006), S Radha Chauhan worked on the UID (Aadhaar) Project and eDistrict (digital services) projects. She helped in the research and development of the projects.
- In 2015, she served as an expert in the Expert Group Meeting on United Nations Post Agenda. The title of the meeting was Governance, Public Administration and Information and Communication Technologies.
- In his meeting, S Radha Chauhan represented India and its perspective on the subject Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education.
- That same year, she was appointed as the Deputy Director General of NITI Aayog. She served in the position for a year.
