• Salome Roy Kapur is a former Indian actress and model and dancer and mother of the Roy brothers, Siddharth Roy Kapur (producer), Kunaal Roy Kapur (actor), and Aditya Roy Kapur (actor).

• Her parents, Sam Aaron and Ruby Aaron were the first certified ballroom dancers in India. They are also known to have introduced Samba in India during the 1940s.

• Since the age of five, she has been trained in Indian classical and western dance forms. In the western form of dancing, she has been trained in ballroom dance, different kinds of Latin American dances, Tap Dance, Spanish dances, and folk dances. In the Indian dance forms, she has been trained in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Kathakali.

• Reportedly, she met her husband for the first time at a bar when he was posted in Kashmir as an army officer.
