Controversy | A Tweet to Saina Nehwal: In January 2022, Siddharth attracted controversy due to a derogatory tweet he posted in response to the Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal's tweet about a security breach involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab. The chairperson of the National Commission for Women Rekha Sharma later took to social media to deamand action against Siddharth. He gained recognition through his performances in films like ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006) (Hindi), ‘Bommarillu’ (2006) (Telugu), ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’ (2014) (Tamil), and ‘Jabardasth’ (2013) (Telugu).
