While he was pursuing his graduation, he used to attend classes in half day, and then he handled his father’s shop in Kashmiri Gate, Delhi.

In his teens, he started his training in swimming and judo. He has played judo at the national level.

During his college days, while he was at a wedding in Delhi, the Indian choreographer Rashmi Rahmani spotted him and suggested him to work as a model. He agreed to it.

He then walked the ramp in around eighty fashion shows in six months.

In 2003, he participated in the Grasim Mr India contest and won.

He then worked as a model for TV commercials of many top brands.

He won the Kingfisher Model title in 2005.
