• Avinash das is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter. In July 2022, he came into the limelight when he was arrested by Mumbai police for sharing a five-year-old photo of Union Home Minister Amit Shah with IAS officer Pooja Singhal on 8 May 2022. Pooja Singhal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case in May 2022.

• Soon after venturing into the Indian entertainment industry, Avinash began working as a columnist for several renowned Indian newspapers. He worked as the resident editor of Prabhat Khabar, a daily paper. He worked as the proofreader of Patna and Deoghar’s release.

• Later, he started working for NDTV India as an Output Editor. Thereafter, he was associated with the Indian newspaper Dainik Bhaskar as its editorial manager. He then worked as a Senior Correspondent at Satyamev Jayate, a community television show.
