- During his teenage years, he liked writing short plays and stories; however, his parents wanted him to become an engineer, hence he relocated to Delhi from Jhansi in 2003 to pursue further studies. - In 2007, Raaj Shaandilyaa began his journey by contributing to a TV show (later renamed ‘Bakwaas Band Kar’) on the 9X TV channel. He wrote his first script for the sixth episode of the first season of the comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’ which was broadcasted on Sony TV.
- He got the work as a scriptwriter with the help of comedian Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar, commonly known as V.I.P. His initial scriptwriting assignment was for V.I.P. and actor Swapnil Joshi. From 2007 to 2013, he wrote over 1000 scripts for various comedians, including Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, and Kapil Sharma. He later wrote many scripts for several comedy TV shows, including ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil.’
