• Abhishek Jha is an Indian businessman. He is known for being the husband of Pooja Singhal, a 2000 batch Jharkhand cadre IAS officer. On 22 May 2022, Abhishek Jha came into the limelight when he was seen jumping the walls to escape media trials after a raid was conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials at his home for his wife’s involvement in illegal mining corruption charges.

• On 22 May 2022, around 20 crore cash was recovered from Pooja Singhal’s home after a raid conducted by Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials. During the raids, her husband Abhishek Jha and chartered accountant (CA) Suman Kumar Singh were interrogated by the ED in connection with the recovery of a huge amount of cash from their home. They were also found guilty of concealing the documents related to the illegal mining case during raids. ^[4]DNA
