• He was brought up in the municipality of Dorado, Puerto Rico.

• He developed an interest in becoming a wrestler by watching the World Wrestling Council in his childhood.

• His father taught him Japanese Goju-Ryu karate.

• Damian worked as a bouncer and then as a manager at nightclubs and strip clubs before getting established as a wrestler. He stated in an interview,
  

  I lived on the street for a few months because I had no money at all. I lived on the street, I slept on the street, and I was homeless and looking for how to eat. Even having work, I suffered. I tried to pay rent, sometimes I did not know what I was going to eat the next day. I kind of gave up wrestling and started working in nightclubs and earned money.”

• He trained as a wrestler at the Monster Factory.

• After winning several titles at the Monster factory, he attended the Ring of Honor training camp and trained himself at the ROH dojo.

• In 2014, Damian appeared in the WWE Money in the Bank event and played the role of a security guard.

• Damian introduced himself in a changed character with a new theme song, new mannerisms and a slightly changed appearance on the 25 October 2021, episode of Raw. The character was discontinued before he became a part of The Judgement Day.

• Damian distracted AJ Styles during a match with Edge which led to AJ Styles losing the match and Damian and Edge allied to form The Judgement Day on 3 April 2022.

• The Judgement Day team Edge, Damian, and Rhea Ripley defeated Finn Balor, Styles, and Liv Morgan in a six-person mixed tag team match at Hell in a Cell on 5 June 2022.

• On 9 January 2023, Damian, Balor and Dominik won a tag team turmoil match in the Raw Tag Team Championship by defeating The Usos.

• Damian qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Matt Riddle on 12 June 2022.

• Damian and Balor defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on 2 September 2023, at Payback. Damian became the third wrestler to win the title and have the Money in the Bank briefcase at the same time.
