Rink started her career as a DJ when she was working in a marketing firm. In an interview, she said that she played for the first time when she was at a party, and she requested the DJ to play a song, but he denied. He then asked Rink to play the song. This was when she played for the first time. She further added,

I loved collecting music from every DJ that I met, and soon had a huge collection of Bollywood songs. That’s when I decided to turn a DJ.”

She believed that her marketing field had helped her a lot in becoming a DJ. She had taken training from the famous DJ Joe Azeredo and DJ Suketu.

Before working as a professional DJ, she did training at a club and learnt new modes of DJing.

In 2008, she made a Bollywood music remix album named ‘Lady Architect’ and in 2011, she worked on another album named ‘Desi Diva DJ Rink.’

In 2013, she was ranked in the top 22 DJs from across India and as the No. 1 female DJ mixing Bollywood music.

In an interview, she was asked if DJing is male-oriented, she said,

In 2005, when I joined the world of Djing, male DJs used to stare at me for hours, only to find a fault. But, times have changed and in every metro, you find almost 15 girl DJs. My music is my drug and I get high on this and nothing else. This industry is safe for women, but they need to learn how to project themselves and watch out for the signals they give out.”

She had performed with famous personalities that include Sunny Leone, Rannvijay Singh, Karan Grover, Ileana D’cruz, Amrita Rao, Nikhil Chinapa, Meet Bros, Nucleya.

Rink has the knowledge of EDM, Hip-hop and Bhangra.

She has worked for the labels Saregama and Sony Music. She made remix of various songs that were related to a particular occasion.
